If there is a "P" on the label, typically on the back of the label itself, then you know that the wine is approved for use at the Passover celebration.

There are many other things that constitute a Kosher wine, like the use of gelatin's derived from non Kosher animals, casein which is a dairy derived product and isinglass which is a derivative of a non Kosher fish are prohibited.

However, if you are looking for a Kosher Passover Wine, the processing has to be very specific. Fortunately, these wines are not difficult to find. So if you are looking for a Kosher wine to drink during Passover, you will not have to look too hard to find a great one.
